The International Fellowship Department Team at Sheba Medical Center is represented by highly qualified experts of multiple disciplines, who promote various cooperation projects with their colleagues from other countries. The international department personnel includes doctors, nurses, accountants, architects, engineers, experts in the field of communications and computer technologies, and project managers.
Professor Rotstein is a highly experienced cardiologist and an expert in the field of Health Administration, who dedicated over 30 years of his life to working at Sheba Medical Center in Tel-Ha-Shomer.
Before he became the chief of medicine at Sheba Medical Center, he served as head of the Emergency Care Unit, a senior cardiologist at Sheba’s Heart Center and the acting director of Sheba Medical Center.
Professor Rotstein graduated from the Sackler Faculty of Medicine at Tel-Aviv University, where he was also granted a Master’s degree in Health Administration.
He founded both the Center of Advanced Technology Applications at Sheba Medical Center and the Israel Center for Medical Simulation. In the past, Professor Rotstein also held the position of the General Director in a medical technology application company – Tel Hashomer, L.T.D.
As part of his academic and medical research experience, Professor Rotstein attended fellowship programs in the USA - at the New York Department of Health, Tufts University and Johns Hopkins Medical Center School of Hygiene and Public Health, and in Great Britain - at Guy''s Hospital and the University College in London. He is an Associate Clinical Professor at both the Graduate School of Business & Administration and the Sackler Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. Throughout his professional career, Professor Rotstein was awarded with numerous national and international prestigious academic and professional awards.
Dr. Zaidaise – associate director at Sheba Medical Center, the largest multi-field hospital in Israel and the main healthcare institution, where students from the Sackler Faculty of Medicine at Tel-Aviv University undergo their clinical training. Dr. Zaidaise graduated from the Hadassah Medical School at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem with a medical degree, specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Further down his professional path he earned his Ph.d. in Pharmacology and Nutrition at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and a Master’s degree in Health Administration from the Leon Recanati School of Business Administration at the Tel Aviv University.
While serving as an associate director at Sheba Medical Center, Dr. Zaidise is also the founder and head of the post-graduate Health Administration program at the School of Public Health with the Faculty of Welfare and Health Studies at Haifa University, where he also serves as a senior lecturer.
Before he became the Associate Director at Sheba Medical Center, he held the position of Deputy Director at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa.
His main fields of professional interest are: the Israeli healthcare system, international healthcare systems, healthcare economy, healthcare marketing, administration and management of a hospital. For several years, Dr. Zaidaise served as an international consultant abroad in the majority of these fields.
Michal Raviv Reizman is head of the Center for International Projects and Training at Sheba Medical Center. She is working in direct contact with potential and new partners, promoting cooperation and joint medical projects all around the world, and personally contributing to their realization. Before taking up her current position she served as an Administrative Assistant to the Director of the General Hospital at Sheba Medical Center as a Project Manager, whose duties involved carrying out the Director’s regulations. She was directly in charged of budget allocations, dealt with providing medical supplies, solving administrative problems, monitoring deliveries and at the same time, annually initiating and implementing various projects. Michal Raviv Reizman comes with a solid administrative experience, which she obtained working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Atlanta (Georgia, USA) back in the day, and as a captain at the Israeli Air Force, and she is now implementing this experience in her current position. Ms. Raviv Reisman earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the Open University and her MBA from Derby University.
Elina Shichman is the chief Project Manager in the Center for International Projects and Training at Sheba Medical Center. She is responsible for intercommunication with future clients, as well as initiating and supervising the carrying out of new medical projects all the way from their initial conceptualization to their full completion. Ms. Shickman received her Bachelor’s degree of medical and biological Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine, the molecular biology department, and later her Master of Health Administration degree - both from Bar Ilan University in Israel. She was also certified as specialist at the Bio-Technological laboratory at the Gutman School. Ms. Shichman served for two years at the IDF chemical Laboratory. Before joining the Sheba team she gained a solid experience while working on several large scale business projects.
