Operation room "Hybrid" is the first of its kind in Israel and one of the few in the world. About a million dollars were invested in its creation. With its innovative equipment, the room is allowing multiple types of surgery on the heart and blood vessels, which can greatly improve the treatment of complex pathologies (such as cardiac arrhythmia) and reduce the likelihood of complications.

15/8/2010: The leading American weekly Journal"Newsweek",placed Israel on 22nd place among the countries around the world, according to the level of living. The criteria, by which the countries were compared, are: economic situation, political situation, health systems, hospitals, medical treatment and the quality of life.
According to the Health Care criterion, Israel was rated with 92.6 points, which put Israel on the seventh place in the world.

This is the feeling of a young Sunlab Zamur from Haiti, who have suffered during the earthquake. Zamur was inside of her house during the catastrophe when the weight of a two-story structure fall on her. The result was a tragedy--a partial loss of both legs.
